In Korea there are two types of soy sauce: regular soy sauce and soy sauce for soup. Regular soy sauce is dark in color and sweeter in taste, while the soy sauce for soup is lighter and salty in taste. This is similar to the Chinese soy sauce: dark and light. Jin S soy sauce belongs to the regular soy sauce. Jin means "mixed". This soy sauce is a mixture of natural brewed soy sauce and acid hydrolyzed soy sauce.
